This practical workshop explores the poetics and politics of object and devised theatre, focusing on materiality as a generative force in performance-making. Participants investigate how bodies and objects can think and act together, creating spaces for enchanting encounters between the living and the non-living, human and non-human. Through hands-on exploration, care, and play, simple interactions evolve into complex, performative gestures. The workshop delves into dramaturgical, performing, and directing strategies while addressing questions of ecology, sustainability, aesthetic and political implications of object-based creation. Rather than offering a fixed method, this process-oriented workshop invites participants to map, experiment, and deepen their own devising practices.
